TanWare is a modular structured automation system controlling, monitoring and logging the wet processes in a tannery. In leather production soaking, de-ashing, tanning and coloring are part of these. TanWare controls these processes fully automatically, raises the reliability for quality and, what is more, it offers a high rationalization potential. This system is modularly scalable and can be adapted to practically any production-flow model and factory layout. TanWare has been used successfully throughout the world since 1987.
It features the following components:
- Container automation
- Precision water supply
- Dosing systems for chemicals
- Measuring and controlling devices
- Management of process tasks, materials, formulations and protocols
- Process-visualisation and monitoring level
Die TanWare subsystems are based on Linux and communicate with each other via Ethernet (TCP/IP). Chemical-proof membrane keypads/boards, big displays and screens with user-friendly operating surfaces offer a user interface that optimally suits industrial needs. TanWare is a technically mature automation system for tanneries, which is continuously being enhanced.
